The Government of Liberia, in partnership with the Government of China, invites qualified Liberians to apply for 11 fully funded postgraduate scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The scholarship covers studies in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mining, Structural, Geotechnical, Architectural, Railway, Highway, and Transport Engineering, as well as GIS and Surveying, Agriculture and Land Management, Public Health, Computer Science and Programming, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Finance and Banking, Geology, Geography, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Education, and Education Planning.

PhD applicants: Master’s degree, under age 40, GPA 3.00+

The European Union’s Erasmus Mundus programme aims to enhance quality in higher education through scholarships and academic co-operation between the EU and the rest of the world. The three main objectives of the programme are linked to the internationalisation of students, staff, curricula and research; ensure an influence on the development of practice in SEN and inclusive education; and to develop international collaborative networks, projects and research Erasmus Mundus supports Joint Programmes (Masters Courses and Joint Doctorates).
To ensure that the strongest candidates are admitted, priority is given to academic merit. Candidates must demonstrate above-average academic performance in their undergraduate studies to be considered. The Committee conducts a holistic review of each application, assessing:
